The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections Reminds Voters of Important Deadlines for the August 3, 2021 Congressional Special Primary Election

(Cleveland) - Voters in 27 Cuyahoga County municipalities will go to the polls on August 3, 2021 to cast ballots in the 11th Congressional District Special Primary Election.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is reminding voters to return their voted ballots. To be counted, Vote-by-Mail ballots must be postmarked on or before August 2, 2021 or be hand- delivered to the Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. A secure ballot drop box is available in the rear parking lot of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections 24 hours a day.

Early In-Person Voting hours, listed below, are available through August 2nd and can also be found on the Board of Elections website, www.443vote.us.

Weekdays*, July 26th – July 30th: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 31st: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 1st: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, August 2nd: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
*Weekdays are denoted as Monday through Friday

Polling locations will be open for Election Day Voting from 6:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. Voters should come prepared with identification when voting on Election Day. Acceptable forms of identification include: an unexpired Ohio Driver’s License or State ID Card, A military identification, utility bill, bank statement, government check or current paycheck with the voter’s name and present address.

During Election Day voting, health and safety measures will be in place to protect voters and Election Day Workers. This includes routinely cleaning all frequently touched surfaces and practicing social distancing. Pursuant to CDC guidance, face masks are recommended for individuals who are not fully vaccinated, however, face masks are not required to vote.
