Vote-By-Mail and Early In-Person Voting Opens For The August 2, 2022 Primary Election

(Cleveland) – The August 2, 2022 Primary Election will decide the Ohio House and the Ohio Senate candidates who will advance to the November 8, 2022 General Election. State Central Committee members will also be on the ballot.

Vote-by-Mail and Early In-Person voting will begin on July 6, 2022 for the August 2, 2022 Primary Election.

The Board of Elections is encouraging voters Vote-by-Mail to take advantage of the convenience of voting by mail. Vote-by-Mail ballot applications are available online at www.443vote.us, or by calling 216-443-VOTE (8683) and at all public libraries.

This is a Partisan Primary Election. Voters must choose a Democratic or Republican ballot when submitting a Vote-by-Mail ballot application. People who voted by mail in the May Primary Election must submit a new Vote-by-Mail ballot application to vote in the August 2, 2022 Primary Election.

Early In-Person voting is located at the Board of Elections 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland. Voting hours are listed below and can also be found at www.443vote.us

Weekdays* July 6th – July 22nd   8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
 Weekdays*  July 25th – July 29th  8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday July 30th  8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday July 31st  1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday August 1st  8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
* Weekdays are denoted as Monday through Friday

The voter registration deadline for the August 2, 2022 Primary Election Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 9:00 p.m. Voters may register online or print a form from our website and mail it in, or drop it off in-person. Mailed registration forms must be postmarked on or before the July 5, 2022 deadline.
