The Voter Registration Deadline Is Approaching And Vote-By-Mail And Early In-Person Voting Opens For The November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election
(Cleveland) – The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections (CCBOE) expects over 600,000 voters to cast ballots in the November 5, 2024
Presidential General Election with a projected turnout of 71%. The CCBOE projects turnout for Early In-Person Voting at 50,000 and
over 200,000 Voting by Mail. On Tuesday, October 8, 2024 the CCBOE will begin mailing ballots to voters who have requested and
returned eligible Vote-by-Mail Ballot Applications. Tuesday, October 8, 2024 is also the opening date for Early In-Person Voting.
- Early In-Person Voters are reminded to bring an acceptable form of Photo Identification (ID) when they come to vote Early In-Person. The list of acceptable forms of Photo ID are available online at www.boe.cuyahogacounty.gov. Voters residing in Cuyahoga County who plan to Vote-by-Mail are encouraged to submit their Ballot Applications as soon as possible to ensure plenty of time to receive and return their voted ballots.
- Vote-by-Mail Ballot Applications are available online at www.boe.cuyahogacounty.gov, by calling 216-443-VOTE (8683) and at all public libraries.
- Vote-by-Mail Ballot Applications must be received by the CCBOE on or before 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 to get the ballot request processed. Early In-Person Voting is located at the CCBOE, 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.

The Voter Registration deadline for the November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election is 9:00 pm on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Voters may register online or update their address at www.boe.cuyahogacounty.gov. Voter Registration forms are also available on
the CCBOE website and in all public libraries.
