The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections Introduces Their Renovated Early Voting Center for the March 17, 2020 Presidential Primary Election

Oct 14, 2021

(Cleveland) – The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections has expanded the space that is used for Early In-Person Voting. Today the Board introduced the newly remodeled first floor that will accommodate the thousands of voters who are expected to vote Early In-Person in the March 17, 2020 Presidential Primary Election.

There is now three times as much space for voters to check-in and vote. The new layout takes advantage of the entire floor allowing for additional staff, voting booths and scanners. “The remodeled space facilitates voting on one floor as opposed to breaking up the voting process on two floors as was done in the past,” said Anthony Perlatti, Director of the Board of Elections.

The makeover includes a new selfie station and a children’s voting area. “It is never too soon to teach our young people about voting and this is a great way to make our youth comfortable and familiar with our democratic process of choosing our elected officials.”

The Board is encouraging people to Vote Early In-Person or to Vote-by-Mail because the Election falls on St. Patrick’s Day. “When you vote before Election Day you are free to celebrate the holiday without trying to make time to go and cast your ballot.”

The Board is open for Early In-Person Voting on the following dates:

Weekdays, until March 6: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 7:    8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Weekdays, March 9 to March 13:  8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 14:   8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday,  March 15:   1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
