The Results of the March 17, 2020/April 28, 2020 Presidential Primary Election Will Not be Available Until After 10 PM

Oct 14, 2021

(Cleveland) – Today the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections received a much larger number of ballots than anticipated. Ballot scanning and tabulation will exceed the 10:00 pm deadline set by the Ohio Secretary of State.

As of Monday night, over 44,000 ballots had not been returned to the Board of Elections. On Tuesday morning the Board received over 20,000 ballots. Voters have until 7:30 pm today to physically drop off their ballots in the secure drop box located at the Board of Elections (2925 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44115.) These ballots will be included in today’s tabulation.

The Board of Elections is expected to complete the count after midnight.

As directed by the Secretary of State: no partial Election results will be available. The unofficial total results will be released and posted on the Board of Elections website: www.4443VOTE.us when tabulation has been completed.
