Vote-By-Mail and Early In-Person Voting Opens For the August 8, 2023 Special Election
(Cleveland) – The August 8, 2023 Special Election will decide State Issue 1. State Issue 1 is a proposed Amendment to the Ohio Constitution.
Vote-by-Mail and Early In-Person voting will begin on July 11, 2023 for the August 8, 2023 Special Election.
The Board of Elections is encouraging voters to take advantage of the convenience of Voting by Mail. Vote-by-Mail Ballot Applications are available online at www.443vote.us, by calling 216-443-VOTE (8683) and at all public libraries.
Vote-by-Mail Ballot Applications must be received by the Board of Elections on or before 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Early In-Person Voting is located at the Board of Elections, 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland. Voting Hours are listed below and can also be found at www.443vote.us.

The voter registration deadline for the August 8, 2023 Special Election is Monday, July 10, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. Voters may register online or print a Voter Registration form from our website and mail it, or deliver it in-person. Mailed Voter Registration forms must be postmarked on or before the July 10, 2023 deadline.
