The Cuyahoga County Board Of Elections Reminds Voters Of Important Deadlines For The December 5, 2023 East Cleveland Mayoral Recall Election

(Cleveland) – The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is reminding voters to return their voted ballots for the December 5, 2023 East Cleveland Mayoral Recall Election. Vote-by-Mail Ballots must be postmarked on or before December 4, 2023. The deadline to hand-deliver Vote-by-Mail Ballots is 7:30 pm on Election Day.

Vote-by-Mail Ballots will not be accepted at polling locations on Election Day. A secure ballot drop box is available 24 hours a day in the rear parking lot of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections located at 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.

The November 28th deadline to submit a Vote-by-Mail Ballot Application has passed. You can still vote Early In-Person or on Election Day at your polling location.

Early In-Person Voting Hours:

Weekdays*November 29th – December 1st7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
SaturdayDecember 2nd8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
SundayDecember 3rd1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

* Weekdays are denoted as Monday through Friday

Early In-Person Voting ends on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 5:00 pm. There is no longer Early In-Person Voting the day before Election Day on December 4, 2023.

Election Day Voting:

Polls open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Voters must provide photo identification to vote on Election Day. Acceptable forms of photo identification include an unexpired Ohio Driver’s License, State ID card, an interim ID form issued by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, a U.S. passport or passport card, a U.S. military ID card, Ohio National Guard ID card, or U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs ID card that includes the Voter’s name and photograph.
