The Cuyahoga County Board Of Elections Launches The Election Integrity Voter Education Campaign On July 15, 2024

Jul 17, 2024

(Cleveland) – The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections has initiated an Election Integrity Series, a comprehensive 9-topic program designed to educate and engage the community on various aspects of the election process. This series aims to enhance transparency, build trust, and ensure a well-informed electorate by delving into the mechanisms that uphold the integrity of elections.

Visit the Board of Elections’ website: 443vote.us or our Facebook Page: facebook.com/cuyahogaboe/ to monitor the Election Integrity campaign and topics.  The Election Integrity informational packages will be released on various dates starting on July 15, 2024.

Election security and voting methods have been called into question in recent years.  Videos and other resource materials will provide information that will teach people exactly how the Board of Elections’ systems and procedures ensure the integrity of our voting systems.  “This is our response to the concerns that we have heard from voters,” said Anthony Perlatti, the Director of the Board of Elections.  “This campaign will reassure voters that our elections are transparent, fair and accurate.”

Each Election Integrity topic will be released on Facebook and available on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and YouTube and the Board of Elections website.  Voters are encouraged to check these communications platforms regularly and to share the voter education information with their contacts and followers.

Election Integrity topics:

1: Security Measures in the Voter Registration Process

2: Vote-by-Mail Ballot Security

3: Ballot Drop Box Security

4: Secure Voting Equipment

5: Security Measures for Creating and Counting Ballots which includes ballot hand count

6: Physical and Information Technology Security

7: Secure Early In-Person Voting

8: Secure Polling Locations

9: Election Day Security Measures

The Election Integrity materials and videos will remain on the Board of Elections website and social media platforms through the November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election.
